What Has Made The Magic So Much Better?
The Magic are currently 2 and 2 at the time of my writing this. Although they have shown, they may be contenders this year. With Young stars like Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero, and Cole Anthony, the team looks insane. Jalen Suggs has improved his defense so much this year with new veteran leadership in Joe Ingles, who got a 2 year 22 mil dollar deal. Playing 11 mins a game and averaging 2 points, they look great.
Who Needs To Play Better?
Paolo Banchero is supposed to be a star for this team. Yet, this season, he is averaging just 12.5 points a game. This is far from where he should be this year as a scorer. We saw him average over 2-0 points a game, starting the first 8 games last year as a rookie. He is playing the mid-range mostly. The most significant issues are his free throw shooting and 3-point shooting. It’s weird how good he is at shooting the mid-range, yet he’s not a great free-throw shooter. If he shot better from the line, he would quickly score 18 points a game minimum. So tell me what you think. Can Banchero snap out of the cold spell?
The Wrap Up
While the Team has been very competitive to start out the year. They need to keep improving. Franz, Black, and Banchero must be great for this Team. Guys like Fultz, Anthony, and Carter can only do it for this Team. They are meant to be nothing less than great role players. Cole Anthony could be a better defender, and if you’re a Magic fan, you do not want him to start feeling himself and taking lots of shots. We all know how that will end based on last season.
